Norfolk, VA (August 5, 2015) – Atlantic CommTech Corporation (ACT-Corp), a worldwide provider of IT and infrastructure services to federal customers was named one of the winners in the U.S. Air Force's Network Centric Solutions 2 (NETCENTS II) Network Operations (NETOPS) Small Business (NOSB) multiple award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a combined value at $5.8B. The contract vehicle supports the procurement of products and services for network operations, infrastructure services, critical services, as well as for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities within the US Air Force and other DoD and federal agencies.

ACT-Corp brings a strong relationship and business acumen having supporting the previous NETCENTS I contract as a subcontractor. "NETCENTS II represents a new avenue for us to continue serving our clients as the Prime contractor using the preferred contract vehicle for our customer base," said Thorp.
NETCENTS II replaced the current NETCENTS contract and consists of seven separate contracts worth over $24 billion over seven years including the NOSB contract that ACT-Corp will compete on.
Norfolk, VA (January 22, 2015) – Atlantic CommTech Corporation (ACT-Corp) received a contract award on the three-year Department of the Navy (DoN) Customer Technical Representative (CTR) Support Services for the Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) under the GSA Schedule 70. The DoN CTR Support Services for the NGEN BPA supports the DoN’s initiative in reducing the costs of acquiring CTR Support Services for the NGEN by the application of a strategic sourcing solution. The DoN developed the acquisition strategy to enhance customer requirement fulfillment, improve acquisition process, leverage department-wide purchasing power, and build vendor partnership. As an awardee, ACT-Corp will be able to provide a myriad Information Technology and Cyber services to the NGEN end user at the command and local level by coordinating, assessing, and overseeing the requirements and delivery of services to the end user through service management and technical support.

Norfolk, VA (November 11, 2014) – Atlantic CommTech Corporation (ACT-Corp) is collecting food and monetary donations on behalf of the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. The ACT-Corp 2014 Holiday Food Drive is an annual community initiative undertaken each year by the employees to give back to the Hampton Roads, Virginia community. Last year, ACT-Corp employees donated over $1,000 worth of food to assist the Foodbank in reaching its annual goals. ACT-Corp employees will collect non-perishable items in non-breakable containers as well as accept monetary donations from November 12, 2014 to December 22, 2014 at the ACT-Corp Headquarters building located at 2509 Walmer Avenue, Norfolk, Virginia. For every $10 donated, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia is able to distribute over $60 worth of grocery products through bulk ordering.

Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) Brian Jenrette brings 21 years of military experience to the position with an extensive background in the Air Force Cyberspace Mission Area. He has served at all levels of the Air Force and Combatant Commands, having held the following positions: Commander, Major Command Staffer, Combatant Command Staffer, Executive Officer, Air Force Inspector, Air Force Chief Information Office Staffer, and System Program Office Staffer. Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) Jenrette will focus on the expansion of ACT-Corp lines of business in the areas of Cyberspace and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance.
Norfolk, VA (August 7, 2014) – Atlantic CommTech Corporation (ACT-Corp) wins the Fiber Optic Cabling task order as owner and member of the T4, LLC and will engineer, furnish, install, and test the installation and cutover of all new equipment, cabling, and any associated termination equipment in support of the McGuire Air Force Base NAVAIR Upgrade under the Army CHESS Information Technology Services Small Business (ITS SB) contract. As a member of T4 LLC and the lead company for this effort, ACT-Corp will install fiber optic cables to upgrade and enhance the cable connectivity between various Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakenhurst buildings per installation plans. Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakenhurst is an amalgamation of the United States Air Force's McGuire Air Force Base, the United States Army's Fort Dix and the United States Navy's Naval Engineering Station Lakenhurst which were merged on October 1, 2009. ACT-Corp is an owner company of the T4 LLC Joint Venture and brings more than 15 years of demonstrated experience delivering large-scale telecommunications solutions to this project.
