Information Security Analyst I

Responsibilities of Position:

Candidates filling the InfoSec Analyst 1 position can work in supervised position or with a small highly skilled, dynamic team. The chosen candidate will be expected to learn quickly to become an immediate contributor. Working with a team, the candidate is expected to be able to leverage the team's direction. A proactive and self-motivated attitude is required for a successful candidate.

The ideal candidate will have documented understanding of risk assessment processes, security management, security compliance, and governing regulations relative to information systems. In addition, the InfoSec Analyst 1 should possess understanding of the DoD 8500 series policies, DoD DIACAP process, NIST 800-53 documentation, Gold Disk, and Retina. The InfoSec Analyst 1 must have the ability to perform as team member and successfully maintain multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment supporting team members on client and internal tasks. The ideal candidate will be available to travel 25%. (Ability to travel on short notice is required.)

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or Information Assurance or other similar program required. Security+ required within 90 days of start plus additional technical certification to be DoD 8570 compliant. Strong communications skills, both oral and written, are also required. Former military experience is a plus. In lieu of a degree, 5 years of related experience.

Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance or higher.
